STEINERT Open '09

Again the STEINERT Open has proved to be a great event with some hundred participants from Europe and overseas taking part.

For the second time the STEINERT Open was held by STEINERT Elektromagnetbau GmbH in Cologne. This follows our success with the previous event in 2006.

Discussions among colleagues and demonstrations of the latest sorting technology were the focus of the two afternoons comprehensive Open STEINERT 2009.

On October 28th and 29th the FineMaster was presented as well as the CanMaster® and Unisort ®-Flakesorter from RTT STEINERT GmbH. A special highlight was the large-scale demonstration with recycled wood on the Induction Sorting System ISS ® and the X-Ray Sorting System XSS ®. The new sorter FSS with a slide was presented.

Some visitors surprisingly brought experimental material with them. STEINERT’s experienced engineers and technicians test department showed that just with sophisticated technology and a steady hand, impressive results can be achieved.

Importantly with all the technology displayed came an exciting atmosphere. The Steinert Open `09 ended late at night.
