Plastics recycling has been the focus of discussions for years and is being implemented in Europe on a growing scale. The near infra-red (NIR) sorting system allows precise detection of plastics with grain sizes up to 4 mm, and reclamation of the material for recycling. The system ensures efficient reclamation of individual plastics found in packaging waste, mixed plastics from electronic scrap, and mixed low-PVC substitute fuels from residual waste.
