Mobility is increasing.
Safety and reliability aspects are becoming much more important in all modes of transport. Steinert cleaning magnets have been meeting this challenge for over 30 years. Thanks to their continual development, they are now, more than ever, helping to meet the needs of modern transport.
Since its foundation in 1889, Steinert has been developing equipment to move or fix iron and steel by means of magnetic force. We also exploit our more than 100 years of experience to develop cleaning magnets that are manufactured from high-quality materials and perfectly processed. As a result, we can guarantee the maximum service life. So why not learn about our products and their performance in greater detail.
Any iron items lying on the ground are collected on the pole faces of the cleaning magnet as it passes over them. Once contact is made, they remain stuck to these faces. Damage to tyres and vehicle parts caused by iron items lying on the ground or thrown up into the air can reliably be counteracted. The driving speeds for the cleaning magnets range from walking speed to 10 km/h. At working widths of 1 to 2.4 m this corresponds to a cleaning capacity of 24,000 m2/h.
